Since being elected in 2014, Mayor John Tory has been working hard to address the challenges a rapidly growing City like Toronto faces. Under the Mayor's leadership Toronto has seen the largest investments in transit, housing, infrastructure and social programs all while keeping taxes at or below the rate of inflation. The Mayor has also worked alongside other levels of government to secure important and necessary investments in Toronto – the economic engine of Canada. By investing in Toronto's transit system, creating more housing options and creating an environment in which businesses can thrive and flourish, Mayor John Tory has built up Toronto and has made it more liveable for its residents. During the AGM, the Mayor will speak about Toronto's success over the last five years and the work ahead in protecting the success of North America's fastest growing city.
