Chairman and Co-founder of the Intelligent Community Forum, John has also worked in major global cities as an urban planner and as head of its city and regional economic development agencies in Toronto, Calgary and Waterloo Region. He has written and co-authored over a dozen books on city development as well as fiction. John is currently developing and supporting Institutes for the study of Smart Cities and Intelligent Communities in Canada, the USA and Asia.
